Is it machine washable?

The Absorber is machine washable. Wash on a warm cycle with liquid detergent. After the wash cycle, rinse them well and wring out any excess detergent that might be in the towel’s porous material. For a deeper clean that will remove any excess oils, smell, or stains - run through the washing machine with 1 Cup of washing soda only (baking soda will work too). Do not bleach or use fabric softener.

Could this get moldy in storage?

There is an air hole at the bottom of the tube. Storing with the air hole unblocked would help. This product can also be left out to dry completely. To reuse the product, just resubmerge and it will become soft and useable again.

Really Works!

I bought the absorber towel for bathing my cats. It does an amazing job at soaking up most of the water left on them after bath time. I got the XXL size and that

I bought the absorber towel for bathing my cats. It does an amazing job at soaking up most of the water left on them after bath time. I got the XXL size and that worked great! My cats range from 7-17 pounds and the only long-haired cat is the littlest. If you have small, short-haired cats you may be able to get a good result with a smaller towel. I like this size because I don’t have to stop in the middle of drying them off to wring it out. Plus there’s enough towel to drape part of it over their heads while drying the rest of the body and I find that this calms them and makes them easier to manage. Most of the hair shakes off when you’re done. Totally worth it!

Yeah, just get one.

Was using old towels but this just grabs the water and I wring it out for round two. Works great for thick golden coats. Not completely dry but definitely catches

The Absorber quality

While I have used this product before, the first thing I noticed was how much thinner the new towels are, still absorb but the towel definitely changed.

It works, but is an odd way to dry a dog.

I bought it on a recommendation. It is an odd texture and you have to keep it damp, even when you aren't using it. If you hang it up to dry, it's like an expensive

I bought it on a recommendation. It is an odd texture and you have to keep it damp, even when you aren't using it. If you hang it up to dry, it's like an expensive piece of paper drying on your rack. For me, I will stick with towels. That's not to say that it doesn't work.

the stiffness of the towel.

Sham for a car, not a 70 lb long hair dog

Hated it, smells weird and cardboard stiff unless wet. Do not waste your money it is not a towel.

total waste of money

I bought 2 of these towels for my Great Pyrenees and they arrived wet in the plastic tube, so I took them out and let them dry. They dried into stiff like cardboard

I bought 2 of these towels for my Great Pyrenees and they arrived wet in the plastic tube, so I took them out and let them dry. They dried into stiff like cardboard towels, when my dogs came in with snow and wet fur I couldn't even bend these around the dogs' bodies much less dry them off. This is the stupidest product I've ever wasted money on. I had to order big bath sheets to do the job. My advice: don't even bother.
