The dry kitten food contains a Natural Chicken Flavor while the Original Freeze-Dried Treats do not indicate that any ingredients were added for flavor. Both of my kittens love both the food and the treats. I’ve started to crush the treat up into their food, and they have begun to loudly purr while they eat. It’s super cute! I’ve tried other comparable food brands for kittens (Blue Buffalo and American Journey) and I really like this for the quality and price. My cats enjoyed American Journey, but they literally gobble down their meals ever since I began feeding them this combination. I highly recommend!
