ACANA Free Run Poultry Grain-Free Dry Dog Food, 13-lb bag

This brand of dog food seems to be enjoyable to my dogs. At $80 per 25 lb bag, hopefully it is high quality and healthy for them as well. The issue with purchasing this food from Chewy is that they use FedEx as their carrier and their FedEx Ground service is subpar. The delivery driver refuses to walk down my driveway or walk path to place the food at my door, in the carport and out of the weather. Instead, they stop the truck up at the street side and set the package out on the curb in the grass and visible to any passersby as well as being exposed to the elements. Their management does not seem to be able to control this issue at the local level after repeated attempts to contact them and request deliveries be left in a safe area out of the weather and view from the street. For the same price Hollywood Feed comes down the driveway and leaves the dog food leaning against the carport door to the house and always leaves a note attached to the bag expressing thanks for my business.

My doxie loves this food & has for many years! He always wants more after he’s done eating. Haha. Acana does not have a strong odor at all like some foods. We love the 60/40 combo & mommy likes that it’s grain-free. I won’t feed him anything else! Arrives in a few days & Chewy is always available to help! Love, love!

I like Acana for their attention to low temperature processing, doing so helps food retain better levels of nutrients and in particular natural enzymes present. They have a wide variety of proteins and grain or grain free.
