I wasn’t surprised that my picky cat wasn’t fond of this, but my other cat, who is rarely picky, wasn’t interested either. They both just walked away after I set it down. Very disappointing since we bought the larger cans, and more of them than we’ll be able to use.

My kitties seem to really enjoy this pate, which is surprising because they usually don’t like pate at all! This wet food has a great texture, it’s very moist, not dry or crumbly like some others. It’s packed with moisture, which I really appreciate. Thankfully, it didn’t cause any digestive upset when transitioning them to it. Both of my cats went absolutely crazy for the smell as soon as I opened the can, and they eagerly cleaned their bowls. Definitely a winner in our house!

My cats and I are all very picky about cat foods. I not only have a lot of cats, but I also do rescue and having dealt with so many health issues with kittens and cats I learned to be pretty picky about ingredients in foods. This food has really great ingredients, mostly animal protein (no sneaking in pea protein or potatoes) with vitamins and minerals. With that said, most foods that don't have a lot of additives are not hits with my cats. This food was the exception apparently. I gave it to 5 of my cats and they all devoured it. I gave it them again, again they devoured it. I am mostly through the case now and I can tell you they continue to like it. This is a rarity in my house since I have to buy basically a different food for each cat because they don't like the same foods. This is going to be on my backup rotation since I know they like it. Kitten food is also great to have on hand when a cat isn't feeling well, since it tends to be more appetizing as well as having more calories and nutrients. I opted for the pate over the chunks because more of my cats like the smooth consistency over chunky and pate is easier to divide up evenly. But with how much they liked it, I'm sure they would like the other textures as well. Pate is also easier to mix with water, which I do with all my cats to get them a little extra hydration.

My kitten loves this food. She has never been overly finicky, but never really gobbled up any food except my older cat’s pate & kibble. With this she tucks in and finishes it all up. My older cat also thinks it is pretty tasty when he can sneak a bite. The texture seems pleasing to them, it has a great moisture content, and even though it is a chicken & tuna blend, it doesn’t smell fishy which is a plus for me!

I have 6 cats with age ranges from 8 months to 16 years. They are fed a small amount of wet food in the morning and then again in the evening. They seemed to enjoy the flavor but they didnt care for the consistency of it. It seemed a little mushy/soft. They would push ot down flat when eating it, lost interest and would walk away from it. I think it was too difficult for them to eat it from the bottom of their bowls.

I have no shortage of experience with canned cat/kitten food, given the number of cats I have..so I will say, this is one of the best! Smooth and moist consistency - although it is pate, it doesn't come out of the can in one dry-ish lump with minimal moisture. It is rich and creamy - with an appetizing smell. AND... Holly, my Maine Coon kitten, LOVES it!! Definitely recommend!!
