There are approximately 4 cups for every pound of kibble.

Is the kibble soft or hard, does the food need to refrigerated?

The kibble is a dry, cooked kibble and it should be soft enough to chew for the average dog. It is not required to refrigerate, food can be stored in a garage or something like that with large temperature fluctuations, the best storage is in your home in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Once opened, you can safely store food in its packaging by rolling the top of the bag down after each use.

Does your red meat recipe have BHT,BHA or propylene glycol?

Acana does not add any artificial preservatives in their kitchens, such as BHA. Mixed tocopherols are used as a natural preservative in ACANA and ORIJEN foods. The mixed tocopherols are a blend of Vitamin E, rosemary extract and citric acid.

What is the source of the omega three and omega six?

The omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in ACANA Red Meat Formula will come from the ingredients used. In particular, animal fat like pollock oil is a great source.

Finally found something she likes

Yes, she likes it. I ran out of her previous food (Origen), but she didn't like it much. Often didn't eat it all. Also, Acana seems to be very good on her digestion

Yes, she likes it. I ran out of her previous food (Origen), but she didn't like it much. Often didn't eat it all. Also, Acana seems to be very good on her digestion. In fact, had to transition her very quickly and there was no upset of any kind. Even though Origen is top quality, Acana is her favorite and is also a top-quality food.

The ingredients! Grain free and full of protein!

Maggie won’t eat the foid

Chewy is excellent. Great customer service, great selection. Acana is an excellent food as well. I just can’t get Maggie to eat the Acana. I really have tried everything

Chewy is excellent. Great customer service, great selection. Acana is an excellent food as well. I just can’t get Maggie to eat the Acana. I really have tried everything to get her to eat her new kibble. Toppers, yogurt, broth, etc., nothing has worked. She ate Acana well while I was transitioning her to the kibble. Now that it’s just the Acana kibble she won’t eat it at all. It’s too expensive to toss a 25 pound of dog food and the money I’ve spent on the multiple toppers and mix in’s has made the Acana quite spendy as well. I switched dog foods because of the cost of raw dog food. I’ve probably spent more on the Acana with the cost of the add-ins.
