Can you use this in a red ear slider turtle tank ?

Should I be adding this product to my pond on a weekly basis to keep my fish pond looking clear?
Answer by ChewyMay 08, 2020
Every pond is different. Dose frequency ranges from weekly, bi-weekly, to once or twice a season. Acurel E is safe for all fish, plants, and animals, and cannot be overdosed.

Will this product remove algae from my pond? I do not have a UV filter. My pond is 400 gallons.
Answer by ChewyApr 29, 2020
This water clarifier clears cloudy, green, murky or contaminated water. Add 1 teaspoon for every 50 gallons or 1 tablespoon for ever 150 gallons. Clean your filter at least once within the first 24 hours of administering Acurel E. If needed, re-dose after 24 hours. Remember to clean the filter regularly. If you do not have a filter, Acurel will still effectively clarify your water, but you must manually remove any contaminant clumps with a skimmer net. For optimal performance, Acurel recommends the use of a pump and filter system.

Is it safe to use in a small plastic pool my dogs like to soak in?
Answer by ChewyAug 16, 2018
Acurel E is made with non-toxic organic extracts and is safe for all fish, plants and animals.

This is the best water clarity out there!!!

I had a problem with an algae bloom and dirty, cloudy water in my 90 gallon temporary/hospital fish tank for 3 Common Goldfish, a Comet Goldfish, a Shubunkin Goldfish, and Bristlenose Plecostomus (they all had fin rot, but after they're treated they'll go back into their 120 gallon pond), and, of course, the tank was overstocked and had an algae bloom, which made the water a cloudy brownish-greenish color. The fish were unhappy and could barely see when feeding time came around, so I ordered this. I expected it to clear in maybe 2-5 days, but in less than 45 minutes, the water was CRYSTAL CLEAR to where you could see the canister filter intake again!!! No nasty, cloudy, unhealthy water anymore, and in less than 1 hour! The fish could see again, and they became happy as ever! I also used it for an algae bloom in my 15 gallon Betta tank, and it completely cleared that as well! I definitely recommend this! Better than Seachem Clarity, which killed 7 of my fish...

FabulousFabulously clear

This is one if the best pond clarification products aside from expensive UV filtration. Green murky water turns brown at first, but be patient. Within 2 days my 35,000 gallon koi pond was crystal clear. I could see the koi 6 feet down. I was cautious, only applying one gallon of the concentrated product (container states:treats 19,000 gallons). That's all it took to clear my pond. Other products I tried had no effect on the green water and made the koi sick, even killing many of them. I'm installing a UV filtration system, but will still keep this product on hand. Water is now so clear, I added a little pond dye to keep the raptors from fishing in my pond!

This stuff is awesome!

It works. We have a 5000 gallon pond with a waterfall, so we use a whole bottle at a time. Having a lot of active fish stirs up sediment, and this clarifier clears it up so well.

Finally...My Fish Pond is Clear!

Whether you are new to having a fish pond or, like me, had one for years and at your final nerves end...this stuff works starting the first 24 hours and then as clear as the first time it was started within 48 hours. Unbelievable! It does exactly what it says, it clumps up all the smallest particles that you didn't even realize were making the water green, or brown, and makes them large enough for the filters to catch it. I have had to clean the intake filter 4 times in the last few days and it was so thick it just fell off. I can see the bottom of the pond and the scales on my fish. I really wish I had known about this years ago!!!

Great product, great price!

Only use this brand of water clarifier. Once I saw chewy started carrying it and the price, it could not be passed up. Even if it isn't pond season yet.
