How to Use

Flea and tick protection is simple with ADAMS flea and tick spray for dogs and cats. Simply shake well before use and begin spraying to cover the body, including legs, underbody and tail. Ruffle the coat to ensure even coverage and penetration to the skin. Spray until the coat is damp, not saturated. For best results, rub spray around the face with a cloth. Repeat as directed on the label. Do not use on pets under 12 weeks of age.

I like that this product uses natural ingredients. Pyrethrins are a group of six naturally occurring chemicals found in chrysanthemum flowers that act as broad-spectrum insecticides. Pyganic is a botanical insecticide derived from pyrethrins extracted from chrysanthemum flowers. The fragrance smells ok. It is used on dogs and cats, and beddings, etc... do need to be careful because it can be harmful to environment such as crops and bees... be sure to read the warning label. It repels flies. My pups used the washable training pads on the deck and i have a snall trashcan for their feces, and both attrack flies. I sprayed this around the deck and trash can, and the flies are gone!!

I work with a local SPCA and regularly transport animals—many of which come in covered in fleas and ticks. I started using Adams Plus Botanicals Flea & Tick Spray in my work vehicle and on my boots and lower legs, and it’s made a huge difference. It helps keep fleas and ticks from lingering in my car or hitching a ride home with me. The herbal scent is fresh (not overpowering), and I love that it’s made with botanicals and essential oils—safe for me and the animals I work with. It dries fast, doesn’t stain, and has become a part of my daily routine. Highly recommend this if you work in animal rescue, shelters, or deal with infested animals regularly. A great all-in-one solution for gear, vehicles, and pets!

My cats are inside only and remain flea free, so the opportunity to test this product was limited until a feral cat that we had been feeding outside for a couple

My cats are inside only and remain flea free, so the opportunity to test this product was limited until a feral cat that we had been feeding outside for a couple years decided to become more attentive. First, we sprayed the porch area until she allowed us to spray her. She now eats inside and spends the hot midday enjoying the A/C. Thanks to Adams Botanicals, all three cats remain flea free. Neither the cats nor my wife mind the slight herbal scent. The product is much better than I expected, and I would recommend it.

Absolutely hated this

After reading the label, I decided against ever using this spray on my beloved dog or any surrounding areas. The smell is strong and overwhelming.  Even trying to

After reading the label, I decided against ever using this spray on my beloved dog or any surrounding areas. The smell is strong and overwhelming.  Even trying to treat small areas on my back porch causes my sensitive boy to start hacking, sneezing and gagging when he walked by it. The label also warns about this coming into contact with my skin and to wash any clothing if it does, yet I'm expected to spray this on my best friend. I can't even throw it away! ("if partly filled, call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions..") What?! I don't recommend this at all! It is also misleading to consumers to use the word "botanicals" which does NOT make this any less toxic than other pesticides. Absolute no from me.

The Adams Botalicals Flea & Tick Pet & Home Spray has a pleasant scent and essential oils for a more natural spray, and it does contain 0.1% pyrethrins, which help deter ticks. I sprayed this product on a towel and rubbed it on my dogs because the product label warns against allowing "product drift" meaning the spray might spread on the wind. I live in a woody area where ticks love to live also and when the product was correctly applied, I didn't have any issues with ticks on the dogs. I also sprayed my boots with the product and that deterred the ticks from climbing up onto me. Please be aware to not spray or use where flowers are as bees and other beneficial insects will be harmed by this product, as the label indicates.

I have been using this product on our outdoor cats and their bedding for a couple of weeks. Ive been pleasantly surprised on its efficacy! It seems to deter both fleas and ticks. It has a mild botanical scent and is less greasy than other sprays we've used. The only drawback is the frequency you need to apply the product. Applying daily is not ideal for long term use, so we will be sticking with our usual 3 month back of the neck application for the cats themselves. I will continue use for their bedding!

Botanical finally!

I was looking for something that was a bit more chemical free to spray on the cat that likes to go outside so if he doesn’t bring anything home to my indoor pets
