I bought this as a suggestion from our chihuahua's vet. My 3 year old male chihuahua gets nervous while we're gone, while my 11 year old female chihuahua is as chill as they come. The Adaptil doesn't smell like anything, but the doggies sure can and it helps Winston stay chilled out while we're away from home. Winston has not had any chewy anxiety or accidents in the house since using this. It's a pheromone that helps chill dogs out. 100% Pet Parent Approved!!!

I was truly surprised that the diffuser effected a positive change in my elderly Chihuahuas. As one dog lost his sight and hearing, he became aggressive to the other, and that dog hid in another room most of the day. Just two weeks after installing the diffuser, the aggressive dog toned it down (only grumbling, no attacks) and the submissive dog started joining the family in the same room as the other dog. It's worth a try if you have behavior issues with dogs.

I only wish I had known about Adaptil sooner. I adopted a shelter dog in January 2024. She had so many trust issues. I had her for 10 months and very little had changed with her. A couple of weeks after getting the Adaptil I saw a change. She is affectionate and is so much happier. I wish I had tried it earlier.
