I am so disappointed. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. It did not meet my expectations by any means. It had a hole and some oil stains of some sort and a few scratch’s. Not to mention the quality of wood is not very good. I didn’t have a box to put it back in to return it or did not want the hassle to even deal with it. The partial refund of $10 was not worth the aggravation I’m feeling of a hutch that isn’t worth it. I am not usually one to complain about things but being it’s for my baby girl as a gift is even more frustrating.
Not safe

This is the 2nd hutch I bought. The 1st one lasted a long time. My rabbit passed away and I got a new baby bun. I bought her this hutch to replace the old one and it is not safe. They changed a bunch of stuff on it. They added metal on the stairs. My bun caught her foot on the metal and had to have her toe amputated. 4 surgeries later she is finally starting to get better. Please do not buy this for your rabbit. So disappointed in the upgrades it use to be a safe well built product.
Not for rabbits
Beautiful in my home matches my walls looks great easy to put together however the stair case is not wide enough for rabbits. My rabbit is 9 years old and always
Beautiful in my home matches my walls looks great easy to put together however the stair case is not wide enough for rabbits. My rabbit is 9 years old and always had a second level so she's very familiar with stairs but she won't use the stairs in this hutch because they are too narrow.
cute but not worth the price
super cute, i like the style. it goes with my room but my bunny is destroying this cage by biting it everywhere, pee does leak through the wood (it happened once)

It is much harder to clean than normal pull out trays, the rabbit has already chewed most corners within a couple weeks, and the pee absorbs into wood.

I bought this to give my mama and her babies more space. And the price was right. I guess I should have done my research to find a better product! The wood was already damaged in places, split in a few when putting the screws in. Honestly thought the pieces were going to break while we put this together. The trays are difficult to slide in and out for cleaning, the seperating pieces make it difficult. My bunnies already have this thing chewed up pretty bad, so I see myself shortly spending more money to get a better quality hutch. WASTE OF MONEY..... STAY AWAY. my photos are to large to add
So disappointed
This is my second hutch from aivituvin. We loved the first but it was too wide for our new house. I purchased this one after months of debating. I’m so disappointed
This is my second hutch from aivituvin. We loved the first but it was too wide for our new house. I purchased this one after months of debating. I’m so disappointed in the way it is holding up. I’ve had it three months. There are nails that become exposed from normal wear and tear. It has severely injured my bunny. I now have to take him to an emergency vet because I don’t know how deep his cuts are. This was not a cheap hutch. The wood is warping on the side and one pee causes it to leak no matter what we use in the cage. It has destroyed my floors because the pee is so strong. We clean this cage daily. I am so disappointed.
If you like formaldehyde, then this is for you

This looked perfect for my pet needs and I bought this thinking I could coat it with waterproof primer and high quality outdoor waterproof paint (low VOC) to increase its durability. When it arrived, it STANK of formaldehyde and both my partner and I had migraines, irritated eyes, etc. from the fumes for a couple of days until I could get some coats of waterproof primer on it. 2-3 coats of the primer helped a lot with the pervasiveness of the smell, as has 3-4 coats of the waterproof outdoor paint. Note that I disassembled it and painted every crack and crevice with multiple coats. However, even after all of this effort, the toxic smell is still noticeable, and is especially bad when lifting the lid of the enclosure or opening one of the front doors and the fumes that were trapped inside escape (which gives me a headache). I thought perhaps I've missed a spot where all the fumes can leak from, but no, it turns out that offgasing formaldehyde (aka vapours) go through waterproof primers and paints and there are no affordable vapour barrier options that would be suitable. There is absolutely no way I'll put a pet in here with the toxic formaldehyde continuing to leak out of the wood. I'm extremely disappointed and would never recommend this to anyone, and it's disappointing that Chewy would sell a product that is so clearly toxic to pets, let alone any humans in this enclosure's vicinity.
