We bought this for our deck, there’s an overhang from the house that keeps it pretty dry. There is definitely a smell, but it went away after a day or two in the fresh air. Our cat loves the little hanging bed. My only issue is that you cannot remove the bed to wash it. We added turf on the bottom for some variety. Definitely grab it on sale, I’m annoyed that it’s thirty dollars cheaper now haha.

Poor quality

Smaller than I expected. I bought another one a while back that was bigger. Same brand and I thought it was the same size. Smells really funky. My cats won't go

Smaller than I expected. I bought another one a while back that was bigger. Same brand and I thought it was the same size. Smells really funky. My cats won't go in it. I've been trying to air it out for days. The wood is cracking in a couple places before ever using. I think this is junk and definitely not worth the amount of money it costs. Buy second hand dog crates and figure out how to make those work. Or buy catio plans and make one yourself, it is almost just as much work, with better quality products.

My 17lb muscle boy and my 15lb girl both fit at the same time. They spend all day going in and out to it and taking naps. It is lighter than expected so we made sure to brace it just in case. The fencing seems to be holding up well, really hard to even get to budge. So we are not much concerned about the staples coming out.

0/10 Do not recommend. Now, I am really poor and cant ever afford quality items, so I dont have very high expectations. Even with those low expectations, this thing is terrible. Half of the things do not line up. The wood is so awful that multiple things broke in pieces when I tried to screw them together. Put together exactly following directions, I can only attach one end of the scratch post, the top and bottom do not fit together properly, and the floor part is not held up. I cant put the casters on because the wood for those broke. I did not expect super high quality, but for the price I did expect a bit more than I got.

it’s not all bad

Once put together it’s fine. But the paint has a strong odor to it I’m hoping goes away with time. But my main issue is the incredibly cheap wood. Be extra careful

Once put together it’s fine. But the paint has a strong odor to it I’m hoping goes away with time. But my main issue is the incredibly cheap wood. Be extra careful when putting in screws it’ll split the wood. We did it at least twice by mistake while being careful. I don’t think $200 is cheap so I wish the quality was a little better
