Instructions
products have been treated with a non-hazardous, water-based painting, which provides initial protection from weather conditions, but the product should be treated regularly if used outside. Wood dries out when not maintained and can become cracked, warp or become unsightly. For this reason, you should thoroughly clean and treat your pets hutch regularly. Make sure to use wood cleaning products and varnish that are animal-safe. Find a place that is as sheltered as possible to avoid wear and tear from the weather. We suggest you can paint the hutch again after half a year to extend the service time.
It was super easy to put together. We recommend 2 people and 45 minutes. And you just need to prepare a hand screwdriver or cordless drill.
All of our cages will come flat packed. It came with a sufficient pictorial manual. Screws were in marked plastic bags. Panels are stamped and come ready to be screwed together. Many have dowel rods that fit nicely into pre-drilled holes(pre-drilling will prevent any cracks and preserve sturdiness while keeping wood intact).

Cheaply made
Bought this for my ferrets and it’s horrible to clean up. You can’t reach most areas well. The latches are super cheap and flimsy too

Not as good as quality and seems flimsy.
The cage was not as sturdy and as good of quality as I thought it would be. The ferrets were able to break a wire on the cage already l.

Not worth the cost.

Cheaply made, the pvc wasn't even fully attached, I had to use adhesive. There are too many pieces and steps to put it together. Terribly made directions. Not very sturdy and the doors are wobbly. The "anti chew material" is only on certain areas, there are still plenty of places to chew. I'm kind of just stuck with it at this point because it took me 3 hours to assemble.
Chinchilla cage
Cheaply made, an irritable stench comes from the packaging, and many parts came ether broken or missing as well as the directions being useless in the setting up

Large but cheap
The cage is large and looks good, but it is very cheaply made and I would not spend the money on it. I would go with a metal one again over this one.

I understand where a lot of the low reviews come from, I decided to order because I thought it'd be a good fit and I like the look and size of the cage. That being said, here is my input I like putting things together so I didn't mind building it. Mine did not come in broken or chipped at all, I do see how it'd be easy to break on delivery as the wood isn't extreamly sturdy when it's all in pieces. You will need a drill. There's some things you need to put together that do not have pre drilled holes in them. The ramps are steep and slick. I have three ferrets and they all would rather climb the cage than use the ramps. There are also no ramp covers for this brand of cage, so you'll need to use some blankets or fabric to make your own. On the subject of ramps. The one going to the very top layer does not fit when you put the house in. You'll need a piece of wood, approximately 6"by4"by1" (l w h) to screw into place against the side of the flooring to fit the ramp or find your own way to make it work for you, we ended up zip tying a tube to the cage to make it more fun for us and them and the tube stays more out of the way than the ramp would be. The pvc layer is great, super easy to clean, but we need more for the sides. Water and poo can easily get in the cracks and crevices and is very hard to clean off the wood, consider ordering more pvc adhesive layer to line the cage with where needed. We haven't had issues with chewing, but we sprayed bitter spray on some areas and gave them plenty of toys to keep busy just in case. The wire in the cage is not very sturdy. It can't take a bunch of weight but holds the ferrets weight fine, it's also just stapled in there so I'd probably do something to reinforce it some. There are many positives The ferrets seem to love all the room. The bottom drawer is a huge help, I've seen some cages where it's useless, but this one comes out easily, and is decently deep, we filled it with litter and they've enjoyed digging around in it and playing. The little houses are nice, they're using them more than their hanging hammocks They have plenty of pace and the platforms are bigger than most cages we've looked at or had The doors open very wide so it's very easy to clean and rearrange their things. There's also many doors on the cage so you can access your animal from any level The latches on the doors are nice as well, simple to use and they stay out of the way All in all we're glad we got it and enjoy personalizing it but understand that's not for everyone
Perfect for my Chinchilla
While the cage is great for my chinchilla, putting it together is a different story! You can’t put it together with just a screw driver, definitely use the “recommended”
While the cage is great for my chinchilla, putting it together is a different story! You can’t put it together with just a screw driver, definitely use the “recommended” drill! It literally took us all day to put it together! You are better off figuring out how the cage goes without the directions than you are with the directions! Overall, it was a TOTAL PAIN to put together but my girl loves it!
