Worth it

It's a good little starter coop for 3-4 chickens. You will need to do a few upgrades to keep raccoons out.

First time chicken parent here. I purchased this coop and a small run for my planned 4 pullets. The size is good and it is easy to clean. The two perches are at the same level as the nesting boxes, so the birds do not use them. They all crowd into the nesting box on one side of the coop so I took the divider out. The hinge on one side of the roof pulled the screws out after about two weeks of use. replaced with nuts and bolts. The wood swells and warps in wet weather, making it difficult to open the coop doors at times, though the coop has stayed dry for the most part. I've had it for about 3 months now and I'm planning on purchasing a better coop in the future. This is a decent coop for the price and as a starter.

Very Pleased

Well made, sturdier than I expected for the price. Easy to assemble. I did paint all the pieces before putting together.

Good for the price

It will do for now. Most likely will need to upgrade down the road

This was very easy to put together. It has very nice hardware and some complex panels were already put together. The design is well thought-out. The wood panels probably wouldn't last outside for many years, but I have it in my coop (will divide the big coop) for a warm place for my new young birds. Later will use it for broody 'chicken jail' and a place for injured chickens to rest and recover. Perfect for my purposes.

Arrived broken, box was already tore open and half way put together at that point. Instead of chewy offering to reimburse or replace they offer to send a box to send it back so you now have to take apart and put into a new box. Im good. Shopped with chewy for years. Some things just aren’t as good as others this is one. Wasn’t planning on leaving a review but they emailed me twice asking me how I like it after they were informed it arrived broken.

Just what I needed

I needed a small coop to move my chicks into when they went outside. This was just the ticket. Great in-between coop before they join the big chickens. Directions

So my husband and I are old with that in mind our first chicken coop went together easy it took us a while. But when we put the roof on it had a Crack all the way thur it.so we called customer service so we could get the part to get a new roof. Within a couple of days another coop came. Still in the box haven't open it yet did take pics of how there other company handles their packages when they leave chewy. They need to be aware of it. But like always chewy had no issue replacing it. Thank you

Good stuff

Very sturdy, practical and easy to assemble. Just pay attention to use the correct screws. Ducks took right to it.
