Instructions
products have been treated with a non-hazardous, water-based painting, which provides initial protection from weather conditions, but the product should be treated regularly if used outside. Wood dries out when not maintained and can become cracked, warp or become unsightly. For this reason, you should thoroughly clean and treat your pets hutch regularly. Make sure to use wood cleaning products and varnish that are animal-safe. Find a place that is as sheltered as possible to avoid wear and tear from the weather. We suggest you can paint the hutch again after half a year to extend the service time.

This is a solid catio, able to outside weather. We got this for our cats because they love being outside on our screened lanai, but we took our screens down to build a pool and add a larger enclosure. After a few weeks of them being out inside, and driving us crazy because they couldn't go outside, we bought this for them. They were so happy! Now the new screen enclosure is done and they're allowed back outside, but we kept the catio outside for them to have a place to go to get out of the sun, or if they feel afraid. It worked out great! Please note that it took two people to put it together.
Cat cries to get out to use it.

Bought this for my cat who constantly tried to jump down off the railing from two stories up on the deck. He absolutely loves it! He meows and meows to go out in it. Last night, he actually spent all night out there. Didn't want to come in, even when I checked on him twice in the middle of the night. This has been one of the best purchases I've made. I'm not handy, so I hired someone to assemble it. Only took him about 45 minutes. I like that there are various places you can open, including the top and bottom larger doors, and then the smaller sliding ones. JR particularly loves to lay either at the very bottom or in the box at the top. I also really like that. It's on wheels. There's a ceiling fan out there that's on high creating a nice breeze, but I'm also able to wheel it out of the direct sun easily.

I put this together by myself in an afternoon. The main tool I used was a power screwdriver. It turned out well and is sturdy and my cat is liking is so far. One thing to be careful about is making sure the bottom piece is squared up well before adding the casters. The box it ships in is quite heavy, as expected. I did need to use my cart to bring it from the area packages are left for my apartments to my place and handling it before I got it open would have been much easier with a second person.
It's fine
For the price, I can't be mad at it. It wasn't as hard to assemble as I expected based on some of the reviews. The wheel feature is nice and it's held up well so

I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now and so far, it’s fine. Pros: It was fairly straightforward to put together, but it did take some time. I like that it’s lightweight so there are so issues if you want to roll it around/change your cat’s lounging place for the day. Cons: It feels sooo lightweight that I don’t know how long it will hold up for. A few of the corners were banged up, which again is probably because the wood is so lightweight that during delivery it probably splintered off. Termites are really common where I’m at and i’m definitely concerned that light wood like this may attract them, so I’m not putting this up against any of my windows or on my porch to avoid issues. Overall, it’s doing what it’s supposed to and my cats can enjoy short unsupervised fresh air naps.
Hard to put together, and not bug-proof, but very solid and my cat likes it
This was quite difficult to put together, and one thing we failed to consider is that it's almost impossible to get it square enough up to the window to keep bugs
This was quite difficult to put together, and one thing we failed to consider is that it's almost impossible to get it square enough up to the window to keep bugs from coming in along the cracks. But in terms of build quality and the basic gist of the item, I think it's very good. My cat hangs out in it every morning , and even gets into the little nook up top sometimes to hide out for a bit.
Attractive and much to offer my cat
The catio is sturdy and easy to move thanks to wheels. I love the little detail of cat ears on the small doors! Hank is a happy boy- now he can enjoy the outside

I like it, cats still adjusting

Great catio for those willing to make some DIY adjustments and/or have more vertically inclined cats. I have two 9 year-old cats. They're pretty agile, but the height of the ledges are giving them some pause. I might lower them. And I think after I paint (the dark gray doesn't offer contrast when they're gauging what is a solid surface), that will help.
My cat loves
My cat loves to be outside! This is great when I can't put her on the leash and harness. The assembly was easy with two people.

I did a lot of internet searching before purchasing this catio. We weren't sure our cat would love going outside but wanted to give him the opportunity. This was well priced and easy to put together. I do wonder at how sturdy it will be in the long run as the wood is pretty soft and the paint job more of a stain. It was a challenge to finagle the catio to line up with the window insert that housed the cat door...we ended up rotating that top half and putting the entire catio on paver blocks. Hubby also engineered a small wooden collar between the cat door and catio so there was no way for our cat to escape. We'll see how it goes...right now our cat spends short periods in the catio but hoping he gets use to the idea of being outside in it.
