This product comes with a waterproof roof and waterproof rubber feet. Aivituvin products have been treated with a non-hazardous, water-based painting, which provides initial protection from weather conditions, but the product should be treated regularly if used outside. Wood dries out when not maintained and can become cracked, warp, or become unsightly. For this reason, you should thoroughly clean and treat your pet’s hutch regularly.

The roof is made out of incredibly flimsy particle board.

The rest of the boards are fine. Not sure exactly what wood they’re made out of, but they feel sturdy and the screws went in and held tight. The roof was completely

The rest of the boards are fine. Not sure exactly what wood they’re made out of, but they feel sturdy and the screws went in and held tight. The roof was completely different. Any screw you would put in the roof just freely spins. If you even lightly pull on the roof after you attach it, the roof detaches and the screws fall out. It is absolute junk. If after that you still decide to buy this, put it together outside. The waterproofing on the roof sheds like crazy and will get all over your floor when you’re putting it together. Oh also the design for the four corners to keep the dog house elevated are really poorly designed. I had to get a mallet to get two of the corners in. I really regret buying two of these dog houses a wish I had bought something else.

One of the angles was bent and would not go into the plastic foot. I had to bend it and force it. The insulation for the floor is poorly designed. The dog continually pulls it out of the dog house. Otherwise it’s pretty good, though I wouldn’t buy it again.

I’m planning on returning this dog house, because of the strong teak smell, my dog won’t get near it. I aired it out for 5 days, it’s only helped a little. The house comes with insulation that has a cover. The foam insulation is also drenched with this smell.

Overall good looking doghouse, but a few quirks, some screws were loose on the paneling, 2 out of 4 metal corners were bent, and the wood is popping out on one side

I liked thesize and the construction of this dog house compared to other houses.

The house is a little hard to assemble. Really need two people to be able to hold the walls in place. Would be hard to do with only one person.

Our mouthy pets have already pulled the velcro tabs that hold the insulation pad off the inside of the house. Otherwise we are very happy with it.

Easy to put together, took around 30-40 minutes. My 70 lb pitty likes it! I did not add the insulated liner until cooler weather but did add a cushy bed and she has plenty of room. Stayed completely dry after heavy rain. This is perfect for her year round daytime yard time, as a sheltered spot from rain or snow but I’d never have a dog outdoors at night or bad weather. Nonetheless, great pet house. Recommend it.

Easy to put together. I did it by myself and in the rain. The one and only thing I do t like is the plastic entry door that has 4 slits for ease of the animals getting in and out also make it easy for rain and snow to get in. The insulation is a nice padded liner that attached to all sides of the inside of the house. There is no electric heater if that’s what you are looking for. Just insulating the dogs heat. The large is big enough for my Frenchie and Black Lab to both fit in.
