How hard is this to put together? Do I need my own tools to assemble?

Answer by ChewyNov 26, 2024
This outdoor cat house is simple to assemble. We recommend having two people work together, which should take about 45 minutes. All products from this brand come flat-packed and include a clear pictorial manual. The screws are packaged in marked plastic bags, and the panels are stamped and ready to be screwed together. Many panels feature dowel rods that fit nicely into pre-drilled holes; however, please note that a screwdriver is not included.

Outdoor cat house

Cats like to sleep in it and like the front porch and can go under it but the roof is rotting from rain/snow. Hinges falling off the rotted wood after 1 year.

That it was insulated

It would have been nice if all the screw holes would have been pre-drilled. Also it was missing screws for roof. Otherwise it's a cute little house.

lol over priced

The wood was blended like a particle board. I purchased a water proof application and put in three coats. This is for the winter months

Size and Warmth

Bought as a second outdoor shelter for neighborhood cat we're all feeding. He loves it....warm, roomy, safe and many cat areas for him to enjoy.

Looks great, not very solid, hard to construct.

I was disappointed by the quality for the price. And the roof is difficult to attach without a long thin drill bit. The walls are much thinner than I expected

I was disappointed by the quality for the price. And the roof is difficult to attach without a long thin drill bit. The walls are much thinner than I expected and the box was full of grit from the shingles. I am glad I never took it inside. I would not purchase this item again. I will pick something else.

Roomy inside.

We put this house together with very little trouble and skipped the liner because it Is warm now. I like that we can add the liner in Fall when the chilly nights come back. So far, my ferals have checked it out, but are not in it every night. I’m sure they’ll get used to it.
