would it be warm for winter?

This dog house consists of 0.47" thick timber wood x 0.6" thick of styrofoam inside x 0.12" thick of plywood board, which are 200% thicker than regular wooden large dog houses to ensure that your pets stay warm in the winter and nicely cool in the summer.

The Medium measures 33.5 inches long x 22 inches wide x 25.2 inches high and is suitable for dogs up to 100 pounds. The Large measures 43.3 inches long x 29.4 inches wide x 33.4 inches high and is suitable for dogs up to 150 pounds.

We bought this house for a stray we adopted because she can’t come in the house because of our cats. Under the description where it lists some questions about the

We bought this house for a stray we adopted because she can’t come in the house because of our cats. Under the description where it lists some questions about the product one question was if the house was insulated. The answer was yes. However, this house was not insulated. We put a heater inside and we will see if it keeps her warm this winter. Maybe remove that question from this item.

Took about an hour from box to built.

It's a little slugger than I would like but dog fits in it. The directions were a little off but we figured it out.

Easy assembly

Worth the money if it holds up. What ever paint/stain/sealant was used had a strong odor that decreased over time. Lining the hinges up for the roof was the toughest

The look of it was nice

The dog refuses to use it. My dog weighs about 50 pounds, this dog house is rated for 100 pound dog. Honestly my 11 pound cat fits in it better. Very disappoint

Happy Camper

It's so warm for Cowboy! We got it just in time for the Snow of 2025, we live in the Florida Panhandle and got 5 inches of snow. We keep the dog house on the porch

It's so warm for Cowboy! We got it just in time for the Snow of 2025, we live in the Florida Panhandle and got 5 inches of snow. We keep the dog house on the porch next to the house and Cowboy loves it, his original dog house was falling apart after 7 years. A new dog house and a new warming mat plus his sweater Cowboy is a happy camper.
