I got this because it was a pretty color and matched the collar I got for my new puppy- I used it for the 1st time today and as soon as we started walking it cut my finger- I was so surprised that it was that sharp where I naturally hold the leash- i have never seen this on any other leash I have had- very disappointed
Gorgeous Pink Leash
Such a beautiful color soft cushion on leash handle but super long.
Bad color on leash
Ordered what appeared to be bright red. Upon receiving leash, it was not, in my opinion red. Has more of a purplish hue to it & does not match collar at all. Recommend Chewy but not this leash color.
This leash is very durable, reflective and comfy! It is a nice length, 6’, and it has nice material.
not really six feet
My human bought this leash thinking it was 6 ft. long like advertised. She measured it at 5 ft. She kept it because it's very reflective, but it's a bummer that it doesn't have more room for her to wander on her own. (The point of a leash is to take my human where I want her to go, right?)
Alcott Leash Review
So I have been looking to try out different brands of leashes to see what would work best for my shepherd. My normal go to leash is Top Paw leashes for their thickness along with the clasp on the leash. When I seen the deal for Alcott where it was only 8 dollars for a 20 dollar leash I jumped on that. Expecting them to be a fairly decent leash due to them being a 20 dollar leash. Truly not impressed by the quality. Did some comparison photos of the top paw leash and the Alcott side by side to show quality along with the stitching where the clasp and handle are. For the price that I got it for matches the product perfectly and it’s quality but I don’t recommend getting them at 20 dollars a leash. I will update as time goes on to share the wear and tear of the leash as we are very active.
Durable and comfortable
Love this leash. I switched to this after using a nylon one and my hands have thanked me! The handle has a soft interior. It's durable and has reflective material for night walks.
Failed after 2 months. I almost lost my dog.
My dog started to go after a deer, and the steel part that clips to his collar just gave out. He's a large but not a giant dog. I could have lost him in the woods. This leash cannot be trusted with your pet.
Comfortable to hold onto
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, it’s affecting my hands and I was looking for a more comfortable leash. It’s extremely well made and the handle is large enough to slip my arm though for a better grip.
I like the look and feel of this leash very much, but the best part is the reflective stitching. It is really bright - highly reflective! I love that they provide so much visibility.
