Leash brighter blue than collar
I ordered both the collar and leash in blue to use as a set. I was disappointed that the collar that I received has a slight greenish tinge, which doesn't match
I ordered both the collar and leash in blue to use as a set. I was disappointed that the collar that I received has a slight greenish tinge, which doesn't match the bright turquoise blue leash, but Chewy promptly addressed it. Otherwise, it appears the same as the Alcott collars that have been working well for my 60 lb brown Lab. Both the collars and leashes easily come clean when added to a load of dog towels or bedding within a small bra/delicates laundry bag padded with wash clothes or microfiber towels to cushion the buckles and metal rings.

This leash is sturdy, but the handle is not comfortable. The buckle on the handle makes it weird to hold or wrap around your hand.

I didn’t have a chance to try that feature because my second time using the leash, my 50lb boxer mix moved in such a way that the clasp released from her harness. She is a runner, so I was *very* lucky that there was a neighbor outside she ran to. I will definitely not be using this leash again, but hope it will work for someone else. I loved the color and the reflective striping but do not feel it is appropriate for “active” dogs.

Another review mentioned that this leash isn't 5 feet long, and I agree. I have two dogs and walk them together, so it's important for them to have the same length

This one is definitely shorter than 5 feet. I was also disappointed with the color, which I expected to be red, but it's more of a rosy mauve.
Hardware too Heavy
Although this Alcott Leash looks to be sturdy, the hardware is too heavy for my poodle's back. She is older & has arthitis.
