This arrived today. It is our 3rd purchase of such item in 2 years. The first one was the best! The second was a moose and the pocket too small for the warming inserts. This one the oversized puppy is plush and cute. It did not come with batteries although the other did. What I find most disturbing is the zipper (unlike the other two which are Velcro pockets for ‘beating heart’) had a satin like string instead of a zip pull. It is ridiculously difficult to hide the ribbon inside the pouch to completely zip the pocket. Leaving the string or ribbon closure accessible to the puppy would seem to encourage chewing and possible intestinal issues potentially requiring surgical intervention. I am keeping the item as we are day crate training and unlike our last puppy moved the ‘beating heart friend day and night’ as there are two crates. We wanted one for the day crate and one for the night. I often wonder who approves safety and actual use or testing of these products and approval for hitting the market safely.
