I was so excited to get this cooling mat dog bed as I live in Los Angeles where it gets mighty hot in the summertime, but sadly my dog won't use it. First, does it work? Yeah, kind of. The mat is cooler than the outside air, but don't expect it to stay cool if you leave it in the sun (duh). I find it works best in the cooler mornings, which, yeah. Don't expect this to work miracles. What's the size like? This is for a small dog. It's too petite for my 50 lb dog to fit on unless he's curled up in a ball, not in the sprawl he prefers on hot days. Is it cute? Yeah, definitely. I love the papaya print! It seems to be good quality because it didn't fade in the sun. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product unless you have a lot of storage space for things you thought would be useful but kind of just end up taking up space.

It can be placed on the floor or on top of a bed for extra comfort. Unfortunately my Pug and two cats aren’t taking to it. It maybe due to the fact that I keep my air conditioner on 70 degrees. I’m only giving 3 stars due to them not using it.
