Multiple configuration options

First time cat and litter box owner--I bought on the recommendation that stainless steel is better for odor prevention and easy cleaning. I like the multiple pieces that made transitioning from open pan to hooded litter box easy and gradual. I have a small house and large dog, so a covered box is ideal. I started with the pan alone and slowly added pieces. I also like that you can flip up the topmost piece to scoop-- clipping the hood to the pan is a kind of clunky. A metal scooper would have been nice over the plastic one. I assume that most people who would go out of their way for a metal box, would also want a metal scooper. The scoop and the litter mat are nice addition, but they could be a little bigger/better. They could have omitted to save them and the consumer a few dollars or upgraded. Overall a great box!

My two cats love this litter box. I do, too! The litter doesn’t stick to the stainless steel pan, and it doesn’t smell much at all (probably thanks to the litter more than the box, though). I popped the door flap off because I knew they’d be weary of using this box with it on; it’s easy to take the door flap on/off. They love entering through the front and exiting through the top. Scooping it is easy, too, since the top locks into place and can be flipped up for cleaning! I also love that it came with a small litter mat and a scoop that stores on the side! Love it!

Easy assembly, good quality materials, easy to clean

Pieces fit together crisply and securely. Cleaning is easy as all surfaces are smooth and the stainless bottom does not hold odor.
