This toy was a hit for all ages and sizes of dogs. The “old man” of our pack found his vigor with this toy because the sporadic gentle movement that replicates small prey kept him engaged, chewing on the rope as he held the moving ball down with his paw. The German Shepherd wanted to herd it as it would move and the young pup loved chasing it because of the lights and movements. The rope was not as durable as one would wish, thanks to the powerful jaws of large dogs so supervision is necessary. It is USB rechargeable, but came fully charged right out of the box. You open up the ball to turn it on and have to quickly screw it on before your dogs go crazy waiting for you to let it go! There are 2 different modes-our experience was only on the first mode! We have had toys that move before, but this is the first one that interested all of the pack! The charge has lasted us a very long time! It turns itself off after five minutes but will turn back on if moved! Will startle you if you are the one accidentally touching it!

So far, it's been working great, but it's not the toy for us. She's watching it and engaging with it a bit, but isn't too sure how to play with it yet. I like that it's rechargable and works with any USB-C cable. It charged quickly, but we haven't foudn out how long the battery lasts yet. The three move modes are nice, but I don't see much of a difference from the 1st and 3rd mode. Overall, maybe not the toy for us, but it's been working as intended.

My boxer LOVED this toy the short time she had it! It has 3 modes, although we only got to test the first mode. In this mode, the ball lights up and moves on its own for a few seconds before stopping. It then starts up again for another round. Unfortunately, it is a hard toy that resulted in a rough surface after she grabbed it several times with her mouth. The small punctures resulted in her mouth bleeding, so I had to take it away. :( There are ropes attached, but she picked up the ball itself.

Was so hopeful

Jabo loved the movement and being able to chase the toy. However, once he caught it, he started chewing on it and now most of the plastic coating has been chewed

Plastic outer covering on ball.

I had hoped it would have been more durable. It lasted 20 minutes of play. However, she loved the interaction.
