I’m impressed with this kitty fountain! It’s clean, sleek, and wireless (which is quite a bonus). We all have so many cords these days and so many things that need to be plugged in, it’s nice that this unit is wireless (with rechargeable battery). The set up was very easy and the cleaning process looks very easy as well. It has a motion sensor so the fountain doesn’t turn on until something comes close. I like that there are indicator lights when the water level is low and when the filter needs to be changed. There really isn’t anything I don’t like so far. I also have to say, one of my kitties was really enamored with it the first night I set it up. She kept batting at the water when the fountain would turn on and just seems to really like watching it. Solid item.

It comes fully charged with a long power cord for future charging. So far it's been running for 3 days and still going. There is a spout that periodically circulates the water while a blue light surrounds the top of the fountain. Although I like it, I'm still waiting for both my cats to give it a try. Minnaloushe likes drinking from her regular water bowl and has not gone near the fountain. Mimi looks at it curiously and the few times she approached it the water began to run out of the spout and she ran away. So I'm not sure if either of them will use it. But I'm keeping it there and watching them.

This product is very good, with potential to be excellent! What I love: It's so quiet. I like the fact that the bowl is raised; this makes it easier for the cats to drink from it, which I didn't notice was an issue until we started using this fountain. I love the fact that the water is always at a constant level due to the design of the bowl. It's easy to note the water level from the see-through portion of the canister, which is lit with a soft blue light when it is on. I love the battery operation- you can out this anywhere without a cord. Battery life seems wonderful, as I've only charged it once! Most importantly, the two cats who I want to drink more because of age are loving this fountain! See photos! What could be better: Please note that I might have received a defective product, so keep that in mind when reading the following comments. Only one light ever comes on for the water pump (the sensor light). The fountain is supposed to have capability to run continuously when plugged in. I tried that, but still, only the sensor icon lights up, and trying ALL the directions in the instruction booklet would not get this to run continuously. Why is that important? In intermittent mode, the fountain is off until it senses movement nearby, and it turns on quietly and softly. Still, that little change freaks some cats out. Even after a week, four of my six cats are still frightened of it, lol. If it could run continuously, it would be ideal! My other suggestions would be to create an indented handle on the canister to make for easier carrying when filled with water. This is not a deal breaker (you could fill with a pitcher), but would be an improvement IMO. My other suggestion is to improve the manual's directions or create an online video to show the way run intermittent mode vs continuous mode. I tried several times to run this in continuous mode, as I don't mind having it plugged in all the time. In the end, I figured that the pump is not functioning correctly, as the sensor icon is the only one that ever lights up. No other icons light up, but according to the manual, they should. Having said that, I LOVE this fountain! I hope my other scaredy cats get used to it.

The flowing water keeps them interested and encourages them to drink more, which is great for their health (especially for urinary and kidney support!). The water stays fresh and clean thanks to the filtration system, and it’s incredibly quiet—almost silent. Even at night, I barely notice it running. Cleaning is very easy too. The parts come apart nicely, and it doesn’t take long at all to rinse and refill.
