Comfort toy for a new puppy

The heartbeat sound was tinny and metallic, so it was not very comforting for our puppy. We would not recommend this product at this price point, as the metallic heartbeat sound ended up making this a glorified stuffy toy for the pup instead of a calming aid.

My dog Rocco suffers from separation anxiety. Sometimes he has sleepless nights. I have found that his new buddy the heart beat sheep helps him calm down and provides comfort. Rocco likes to sleep with him every night and he doesn’t even bite him or chew on it. The little heart can be removed the sheep has a Velcro closing tape in the belly. The plush is soft and washable which it is a plus. I do recommend this product for older dogs. And I’m sure works great on puppies too.

I have four small Chihuahuas and they watched me open the box as soon as I walked in the door. They love plush toys, and this was no different. They immediately waited as I put it on the floor and they fought over who was gonna play with it first. What I like about it is usually they can feel where the squeaky is in a toy and eventually they can work their way to chew through the material to get to the squeaky and remove it. This one is more adorable and it doesn’t seem as though they can easily remove the little heart.

I got this to try with my anxious dog. She’s not a puppy, but does have anxiety. She likes to suckle on a particular toy sometimes when stressed so I thought this

I got this to try with my anxious dog. She’s not a puppy, but does have anxiety. She likes to suckle on a particular toy sometimes when stressed so I thought this may help her. She slept with it no problem in her crate and didn’t try to play with it or rip it apart while in bed, but it didn’t seem to help her necessarily. Outside of bedtime she just tried to play with it regularly even with the heartbeat on and it definitely will not hold up to any heavy chewer or anything like that. It’s hard for me to recommend this as some sort of cure, but it is cute and she didn’t mind sleeping with it.

My dog seems to really enjoy cuddling with his new sheep stuffed animal. He has anxiety, and is on meds for it, and found the heartbeat sound a little scary. However, once I turned off the sound, he has really enjoyed taking naps with his new sheep friend. It is shaped in a way that makes it easy for him to cuddle into it. The material of the sheep is also very soft and he seems to like the texture.

Our 3 YO female dog has severe anxiety. We have to medicate and crate her when leaving or she will tear up the house and hurt herself. We got this in hopes it would help to calm her. Boy did it do the trick. We find her cuddling with it and taking it around the house. It's so wonderful to see her related with it and enjoying the heartbeat feature 💗 Definitely a must have for dogs with separation anxiety.
