NOT WATERPROOF

We got a new couch and needed the protect it from our cat that occasionally pees on stuff due to behavioral issues. I got these along with a couch cover to protect feom scratching as well. He peed on the couch as he does & it went right through the mat to the couch. He had some this multiple times now and each time it goes right through. The mats are actually really nice & comfy but not waterproof. These should be labeled as "resistant " but if you spill or pee gets on it and you don't catch it instantly it will go through (which, we don't because it is either in the night or while we are at work). I strongly encourage people to not buy this for waterproofing. It works fine as a cover for the top of a couch but not waterproofing!!
