Bought this in a size that would be the length of the back seat of our vehicle. We folded it in half width-wise, and it's perfect. Our little dog just stands, sits or lays on it and it protects the leather seat from her nails. Not just for a couch. I recommend it if your pet is the quiet type. A bigger or more active dog would probably have it off in minutes as the side meant to hold it to the seat is folded under.
