My cats are so picky. They want a constant rotation of four different foods a day and then those cant repeat the next day. it’s exhausting. This food is one we can reliably give them daily. But it’s very low calorie at 40 cals per can. So think of this as like a half portion compared to average other 3oz cans. The consistency is like a runny thick gravy with no real chunks. It’s got a fierce smell, but the cats adore it. So, I totally recommend, but if you usually split a can for multiple meals, this is more of a whole can per cat kind of food. It’s a fantastic option to throw in the mix for hydration to protect kitty's kidneys.

My senior cat was diagnosed with diabetes in the last couple months. The vet suggested a higher protein diet for him. Some choices in food were very expensive but this one was high protein and affordable and my cat loves it and has actually gained some weight back he had lost from suffering from diabetes. i would highly recommend this product!
