One of my cats has kidney issues and she needs lots of hydration. She loves these and the salmon flavour. I mix a couple tablespoons of the broth and a bit of the meat shreds into their wet food and blend it together and pop it in the microwave for 3 seconds, and they both scarf it. My senior struggles to eat sometimes and adding some of this stuff to her diet between her weekly subQ fluid infusions really helps.

I'll start by saying if your cat isn't fussy about his food; count this as a blessing. Oliver needs more liquids and this looked like a winner. Well, it was kinda
I'll start by saying if your cat isn't fussy about his food; count this as a blessing. Oliver needs more liquids and this looked like a winner. Well, it was kinda like I bought a can of Swanson's chicken white meat, shredded up about a tablespoon of it and added about 4 tablespoons of the water it was packed in and sealed it up in a pouch that would squirt all over when I opened it. Oliver would eventually lap up the "juice" and leave the sorry looking chicken shreds. Very discouraging and not the least bit cost-effective. To my point, given that Oliver is super-picky about wet food, buying a dozen because it's cheaper before it's proven to be acceptable is only good for Rose Bud, the neighborhood stray and leo our grandcat. AND buying more than a couple dozen of today's favorites is also risky business. If you cat likes this, I'd guess "she" would love Swansons and you'd save a bundle.
