I LOVED this blanket and so did my dog. It kept my couch clean and her comfy. The texture was really lovely for a dog blanket - soft and silky. However, when I washed

I LOVED this blanket and so did my dog. It kept my couch clean and her comfy. The texture was really lovely for a dog blanket - soft and silky. However, when I washed it (according to instructions) it came out of the dryer all nubby and sad looking (like an old stuffed animal if that makes sense). It was no longer the same texture. I literally took a hairbrush to it and that helped a little, but it's just not the same. It's still soft, but it looks worn and not as nice on my couch now. Was planning on buying a second one for my bed but now I'm not so sure...
