Instructions
Remove collar from pouch and unroll it. Remove inner piece and fasten collar around dog’s neck. Correct fitting allows two fingers to be comfortably inserted between collar and neck. Any excess length of collar beyond the buckle should be cut off.

Max could not tolerate the smell.
I am afraid to leave it on him thinking it might make him sick. Did not work for him. I would like to get my money back and try another kind.

I tried this on both my Malinois and my Dutch Shepherd, and while it smells fantastic, I did find the odor to be a little strong for me (I have a ridiculously ensitive nose) at night when we are all piled in bed. So, I have been using it during the day when I am WFH, and finding my Dutch seems a bit less melodramatic about delivery people and neighbor dogs barking. Hard to say for certain yet how effective it is, I would definitely pop them on both my dogs during 4th of July or our next thunderstorm though, as I think it could help take the edge off for them.

I’m giving this 4 stars because my dog tolerates it, hasn’t had any reaction, and it smells nice. She’s been wearing it for about a week. Background: she is a German shepherd who is blind. She has some sort of brain issue. Not sure if it’s anxiety, doggie autism, or who knows what. She’s sweet but not quite right. At a year old she still isn’t potty trained despite heroic efforts, and will occasionally (okay a lot) whine and run in circles like something is bothering her. No seizures that we know of. So I thought,”heck, might as well try it.” I THINK her spinning and whining has gotten a bit better. It hasn’t been a miracle or anything. But when I’m working from home she seems to interrupt me less for that. I say “seems” because I haven’t really quantified it. Overall a good experience. Just not 100% on what I think of the effectiveness.

Unfortunately it did not reduce his barking or high energy but I would buy this again for the fact he smells amazing. This collar has a lavender scent that is strong and is leaving his bedding and himself smelling very pleasant. I would think when he’s sleeping the lavender scent would help him in some way because it is a relaxing smell. This is supposed to last 4 weeks, so it will be interesting to see if the smell actually last that long, so far he’s only had it on a few days.

However, within 15 minutes, they were both having allergic reactions and started reverse sneezing. Oscar was scratching at his neck constantly and he usually does have a collar on so this was unusual. I had to remove the collar and seal them in a bag. I tried a couple of days later and had the same reaction. They are definitely allergic. And to be fair, I have asthma and it was triggering me. I think it's just a bit too strong for us.

Low barometric pressure makes her anxious as well as gunshots in the distance (it's deer season); both of which we've had since receiving the collar. I'm so disappointed. She's an extremely happy dog otherwise. I will say the collar has a pleasant scent and I do wonder if it helps others... just not mine
Does calm my Toby (to a degree)

The calming collar smells good and my dog doesn’t seem to mind wearing it. However I cannot say for certain if it is effective or not…I don’t think I have used it

Calming my dog
This has really helped with my dogs anxiety. He is scared of rain and loud noises. We have been getting rain and he is calmer and doesn’t cry and try to hide.
