Larger dogs could be a different story so please be open minded by my review thank you. I am always in the reach of him in cases of a possible choking. We’re chewing they do turn into a white soft tissue that stretchy, which is a good thing for them especially when they’re teething or any dog for that matter, but do monitor. Thanks u!

Now that we've purchased a few different brands of esophagus/gullet chewies, I can say that this brand seems to last a little longer. We tried two other brands at different price points, and I will be purchasing this brand from now on. We have two GSD, one is an extremely aggressive chewer, and these simply last longer! Also, there's no gagging like with rawhide chews once they get wet and floppy. If you've not purchased a gullet chew before, be warned, the smell is horrendous, but the dogs LOVE it! We'll definitely be purchasing these again.
