  • Quality food at an excellent price

    By on

This is a well rated food (Dog Food Advisor) at a good price. Legumes (peas, chickpeas, etc) give my keeshond loose stools, and it's hard to find quality dog food that doesn't have some form of legume in the ingredients. I feed a rotational diet, mixing other kibbles in, and Endurance is always the base of the mix. My dogs, the keeshond and a mixed breed, look great and enjoy this food.

  • Not a bad food but not a hit either

I really thought my dogs would love this food based on the ingredients - a great amount of several meats and without an overuse of grain or use of low quality cereal grains but what looks like just enough. I did notice the lack of fruit and vegetable content but I didn't think my dog's would mind. I think that's where this food may have gone wrong for us - they very much enjoy a similar food but that also has high value fruits and vegetables high in the ingredient list. They did eat it but my standard poodle would only touch it with the addition of Grandma Lucy's as a "gravy" and flatly refused it otherwise. Even with the added rehydrated freeze dried food that he loves, there were still times I really thought my dogs would love this food based on the ingredients - a great amount of several meats and without an overuse of grain or use of low quality cereal grains but what looks like just enough. Even with the added rehydrated freeze dried food that he loves, there were still times that he wouldn't finish the serving - he had to really be hungry to eat this. Our other three ate it over the course of the day but again, not crazy about it so this was worth trying but will not be another purchase. … more

  • everythig we wanted in the ingredientsand made in the USA

My dog loves it. We mixed it half and half with his current food to transition over and has never not wanted it. He did have diarrhea at times at first, but after about 10 days he is back to normal. He looks great and waits at his bowel when he knows its time to eat. He is a high energy dog and this mix of protein and fat is recommended by a hunting dog trainer.

  • Great high protein dog food

    By on

Our pup had issues with ear & paw infections and we had to find a food low in carbs to stop feeding the yeast that was getting out of control. This was more difficult than expected, most grain free foods still use things like potato or pea starch and that wouldn't do the trick. Then our groomer recommended the ANP Endurance since it is high-protein and uses barley & oats for fiber. It did the trick and best of all our dog loves it. He's been eating it for 5 years now and still runs to his dish at dinner. The best part is that I can now get it delivered!

  • Good product

My puppy loves this food. Glad I was able to find the same food the breeder started him on. I'm little scared to change up out of fear it might upset his stomach.
