My 3 yr old German Shepherd has always had dry itchy skin and even dandruff and hot spots. I have tried numerous premium chicken free foods and skin supplements over the years. This is the only food so far that gives her notable relief. She will scratch every now and then, but definitely not like before. If you are in the same situation, give this a try but wait about 3 months before switching foods again. My Vet told me it takes several months for a new food to make an effect on the skin. My girl is now on her 3rd bag. Im so happy I found this food. Also, she does not like Salmon formulas. She is very very picky, but she seems to enjoy this one.
I bought a few small bags of food for Cleo to do a taste test. Finding chicken free food is difficult. She picked this both by individual bowls and by mixing several flavors in the same bowl. She picked out the other foods - they were tossed on the floor. She ate the duck. Best part, no more refusing to eat and no more morning vomiting.
My dogs can't eat chicken nor food dyes and this food also has no legumes. My dogs love this food and the male has stopped chewing his feet and no ear flapping. Hard to find food this nutritious and ticks all the boxes for my dogs health.
Stormy loves this food. Her coat looks healthy and shiny. Her weight is well maintained.
My 1.5 year old Lab has been a picky eater with kibble. However, he eats this brand and the duck with squash is now a favorite. So glad it was recommended by a friend and sharing this for others who might have a picky eater. It’s a winner for my pup. Hopefully Chewy can keep this stock up on the duck with squash, it’s my only concern since it runs out quickly/not always in stock.
After trying various kibbles, this one is just perfect for my lab who had gastrointestinal issues
My Bouvier Des Flanders have adjusted well to this change in diet and seem to love it! Their allergies have calmed down since going chicken free.
This is a premium dog food I have used for several years now. My 7 year old American Bully mix has skin allergies and this particular food has worked well for him. I also like the small size of the kibble. The products used in this food are top quality.
My mum gets me this food and I love it! I chow down & it makes me shiny! Mum mixes it with raw Wyoming grown beef or raw chicken, Yummy!!
I bought this in my quest for a high-quality, grain-inclusive food that my Labrador could tolerate. No dice, she developed the usual gastroenteritis (diarrhea) that comes from foods that don’t agree with her. I guess this food proves that she absolutely cannot have grains, not even the “wholesome” ones. Also, the tiny kibble size is much more suited for small breeds; but that is a moot point in our case.
