I have been grooming my schnauzers for years, When I first started went slow and watched many videos. In the beginning knew the hair would grow back if I oops. Went slow for pups' sake even if it took two days. Did not take long to get it right, I received great compliments from everyone including my Vet. Now I have a bichon-poo. Another new experience. originally used an Oster clipper with guides. The bichon poo came out O.K. I thought it was me with learning new grooming style. (Went back to watching videos) now using the Andis easy clip ultra clipper with guides. She looks fantastic. I don't know if it's the blades number, but I'll take it. In defense of the Oster, it was a very good model and always sharp blades, just cut different. Grooming was an easy learn. Patience. My bichon poo is just a year, and I now learned poodles need different styling but it's easy with the right tools.
Works well but cord is too short

The noise is standard, not too loud. I used the smallest guard attachment to shave between his eyes and under his chin and it worked really well. It caught the hair easily compared to my other set. What I didn’t like is the cord length, it’s not long enough. If my dog is not feeling the clippers, I can have him get in the tub (no water) and he freezes which allows me to finish the trim but I can’t do that with these. They don’t reach. I didn’t notice them get hot but I also didn’t use them very long, so I’m not sure how they stand up to long use. If I did a full groom, I’d watch for that.

I was hopeful that this product would come with good enough instructions to feel comfortable using it as a newbie with no prior experience with home grooming (beyond trimming my dog's hair a bit with scissors in between professional grooming visits). Instead, the instructions included are extremely barebones and I had a hard time making sense of the images. I went to the company's website hoping to find more information there, and still didn't come away feeling like I could use the product without putting my dog at risk. These might work great for people who already at-home grooming experience with clippers like this, I'm not qualified to say. I don't feel comfortable using them with the level of knowledge I have if there's a chance I could hurt my dog in the process.

While the clippers did heat up a bit at the end of each hour of grooming and the on / off switch was a bit too tight, these clippers operated with the same efficiency as my much more expensive clippers. The blade remained sharp, the clipper guides were accurate, and the weight and maneuverability of the clipper was excellent. I was extremely impressed with the results.

These are good home-grooming clippers for the price. My friend is a professional dog groomer and says they won’t win any grooming competitions, but they will take care of basic pet grooming needs without causing injury or harm to the pet since the guards are very protective of the blade. They are definitely loud for not a lot of power. Because they are loud, it’s best to use caution when grooming around the face in case the dog is nervous of the sound. It gets the job done, though.

A nice inexpensive set of clippers for dogs with lighter coats or medium coats. I have a standard poodle, and this struggles a bit getting through his body (which is understandable - it IS advertised for light and medium coats only!). This will definitely come in handy for touchups (face, feet, fanny in between full grooms) but won't be able to take the place of the full grooming process. Nonetheless - still handy to have and well worth the very reasonable price tag

The Andis Easy Clip was very easy to use and comes with everything you need to give your dog or cat a great trim! Inside the box was a compact rotary clipper and four comb attachments. The blade was adjustable and there were a bunch of different size comb attachments. It made trimming my Australian Shepherd's hind quarters and paws a breeze! For reference, they have a medium double coat.

This Andis clipper cuts very smoothly and is not as noisy as prior clippers I have used. I highly recommend this clipper for home use on curly coats. This will be my go to clipper from now on.

Can't use the hair combs that come with due to the fluffy nature of their fur. I have a larger clipper, but this one is the right size and doesn't give me wrist fatigue.
