The blades/handle cross over each other when scissoring pawpad fur

bought the Andis curved ball tip version. Wanted to like them. However for the price , My Chris Christensen shears for the same price or less work much better ,

bought the Andis curved ball tip version. Wanted to like them. However for the price , My Chris Christensen shears for the same price or less work much better , even after 10 yrs ! The Andis are lower quality in comparison , wanted this ball tip sheara only for aussie paw pad area fur trimming. I used once a week just on paw pad fur trimming for less than a year. Now when I use the shears the blades and handle holes cross over each other like broken. they only cut at the tip of the shears as another customer reviewed. My $45 chris christensen straight shears blow these away. would not purchase again.

Only the tips of the scissors cut

The middle of the scissors don’t even cut. I appreciate the left handed option and I eventually got the job done but nicked my dogs leg where due to the poor performance

The middle of the scissors don’t even cut. I appreciate the left handed option and I eventually got the job done but nicked my dogs leg where due to the poor performance of the scissors. And there are these weird rubber things that I can’t figure out what they are for. I don’t know if I got a bad pair or what but will be requesting refund.

Please know these shears are curved. The description does not say that. Apparently neither does Andis's official description, so it's not Chewy's fault. That said,

That said, they are excellent quality & work well for lefties. The posters complaining about how they cut might not be using the right techniques. Let the scissors do the work. Gently & carefully. No need to try to muscle & hack your way through the hair. It won't work & will just bind up. Nice for rounding around rounded body parts.

Cuts like a saw

These shears are obviously very sharp; however, I find that I need to use a sawing action to cut dog's coat.

Shears are so dull they do not cup pest hair. Very disappointing. Differently not Chewy's fault. Unless they get feedback they do not know when something does not

Dog scissors

These shears are wonderful. Finally I can give my little poodle who is way overdue for grooming because of quarantine some relief. Got the hair out from around her

I did not receive the Shears or guides, but you got Paid. I did receive the Shaver under separate cover, which has limited value without the guides. I guess 50%
