Description

Protect your best friend’s cuts, scrapes and bruises while they heal using the Andover Healthcare PetFlex Dog, Cat & Small Animal Bandage. With a tensile strength of 16 pounds, this premium, self-adhering cohesive bandage is resistant to abrasion and shredding, even with active pets. It’s made using woven fabric base material, linear elastic yarns and high-quality latex cohesive. Linear elastic yarns deliver consistent compression without constricting, moving or falling off over time. With superior adhesion, this bandage is sweat and water-resistant, yet is still easy to remove and won’t stick to skin or fur. Convenient and easy to use, it can be hand-torn straight and clean, so you don’t need scissors. Like all Andover products, this bandage is made in the USA and comes in a variety of colors and prints.

    Great bandage

    By on

My handsome kitty had a inflamed hot spot and needed to cover it for a few days. These bandages worked great and it didn’t come undone like other brands. Also they were cheaper than buying them at a drugstore.

    Just Right!

    By on

While I primarily use these bandages on my dogs, they work great on two-footers, too! I like the different colors. I like having a stash on hand!

It is a little thinner than I like to use.

I actually use this wrap for me to help with my trigger finger. The wrap I get at the vet, although a little more expensive, is tougher strength.

Needs to be more dog resistant

    By on

Our dog had abrasions on a couple of his pads. We put on antibiotic ointment, gauze and then covered it with this wrap. The dog went right for the wrap. We had to watch him constantly. We took him outside and he ran after a ball. The wrap flew off too. I guess we should have used more and put it up his leg. It needs some taste to deter a dog from chewing it off. We did not have a "cone of shame" to keep him from chewing it.

Good to have around, but not great.

    By on

I use a lot of coban and 'vet wrap' products and this one is cheap. This one works just fine, but is very spongy on the roll. I made a dent in the roll with my thumb. But if you are making a first aid kit, you can't beat the price.

    Same as at the vet

    By on

This is the same thing my vet uses. It has excellent self adhesion and is a lot more flexible than the stuff available for people. Works great.

    Stays In Place!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Definitely stays in place far better than even tape! My only complaint is how little the roll is but that's of no ones fault but my own. I've used i think 5 small sections to wrap our dogs foot (60lb dog) and it's nearly gone already so plan to buy a couple rolls.

    Helps keep Socks on.

    By on

I put PetFlex on Rosie's paws before I put her Socks on and they don't slip off. The secret is to stretch the PetFlex enough so it sticks to itself but not so tight that is blocks blood flow. It isn't that hard to do.

    By on

My yellow lab is a bandage-removal expert.....except with this. She couldn't get it off! Love it!
