I have 2 dogs with genetic kidney disease. One was on her way to anemia and the other was very anemic and was symptomatic. I did a ton of research on their disease and there wasn't a lot of research for dogs. And the the product (erythropoietin) used in dogs with their type of anemia is actually a modified human form and is not only risky VERY expensive. So I went to human research for the disease process and found that Echinachea has been used as a blood builder. I gave it a shot because why not? I really thought my boy dog was going to die. Well I don't know if this product worked as a blood builder or if he just recovered but his blood work shows he's no longer anemic and his RBCs are normal I have 2 dogs with genetic kidney disease. Now I give it to them the beginning of every month for about 5 days and if they get a UTI I use it to help them fight the infection. … more

  • Seems to be helpful

Have been using this on two of my cats that have had respiratory problems that no vet out there seems to be able to *fix* so to speak. So, I've been using this the past few weeks and the cats are improving. Will continue to use this as it seems to work and I put about 1/2 a dropper full in the food.

  • Product really works

I gave this product to my cat who suffers from upper respiratory infections regularly due to allergies and there was a big improvement after 3 days. I gave it for 7 days and all symptoms were gone. I may have to give it again when the allergies season starts but this is not a problem and my cat does not even mind taking it mixed in a little bit of wet food. Great product !

Well I purchased echinaces for a stray cat living in my bushes outside. He came down with an upper respiratory infection.he is feral. Because of the fact he is feral I thought I could him an alternative treatment instead of antibiotics. If it. We're not for the taste I'm sure he would have been well by now I tried it in the food and water, can't put in his mouth..

This smells horrible and the cats hate it. Even though I did force it in I saw no symptoms improving. Going to switch...

  • Not sure about the effectiveness

We gave this to our dog, who suffers from allergies. It didn't hurt him, and whether it helped is anyone's guess. He *seems* livelier, and certainly doesn't mind taking it, so we'll deem it a probable success.
