    It’s spicy

    By on

I don’t understand this powder. It smelled spicy so I tasted it and it’s spicy. I don’t understand how this is supposed to appeal to a dog’s palate. My 4 dogs ate it hesitantly. None of them finished and one of my dogs wouldn’t touch it. I can still feel the spice of the powder in my mouth and it’s been about 10 minutes. Now I’m worried because one of my dogs ate a decent amount of it. She’ll probably have a tummy ache. Is it supposed to be spicy?

both our dogs are new to this supplement. So far so good! We were concerned it may upset our boy's colon issues but we give one spoon only and this works.

    Picky Eater with Sensitive Stomach

    By on

My Jackie has had gastrointestinal issues and has been on a special rx diet for many years. She now is on a home cooked chicken and sweet potato diet but needed vitamins. She is a very picky eater. I was concerned she would not eat food with this additive but she does. She is responding well to the additive. I'm happy with the purchase.

    Happy Tails

    By on

Just started making food for my two dogs (1 finicky eater and 1who hasn't met a food she doesn't like). Food is pretty basic, so obviously we're needing some sort of multivitamin and greens for digestion. Both dogs LOVE the green supplement. They both are excited for their meals. So happy to know they are thriving!

    Staying Healthy

    By on

I try to do everything I can to keep my 9 yr old Maltipoo healthy and live to her oldest and best life. I started out with a little in her food and now (3 weeks later) she is used to the taste and gobbles her meals.

    great stuff!

    By on

So my 7 mo old golden retriever baby suffers from a very sensitive stomach, no amount of limited product, high quality, probiotic, or expensive food would cure her of soft stool. But THIS in combination with fish oil, coconut oil, and pumpkin as an additive is amazing. Granted you don't have to add the oils and the pumpkin, but I find that all these ingredients together work well for her system. Of course every dog is different but this is definitely worth a shot if you have a baby with a sensitive stomach or digestive issues. Super healthy for them too!!

    Dog enjoys Animal Essentials

    By on

We recently started adding Animal Essentials Herbal Green Alternative to our German Shepherd's food to help him stay healthy as he ages. Although we have not used it long enough to see results, we are pleased that our dog licks the bowl clean with the Green Alternative mixed in.

I feel good that he's getting these nutrients

    By on

I already feed my dog a high quality food but I like that there are nutrients in green alternative that are not in the dog food. I mix the supplement with some pumpkin and coconut oil and my dog devours it. I feel better that he's getting some added nutrients to keep him healthy.
