I love this company and have been using their excellent products for years for my dogs and cats. I was just about to add this expensive product to my AutoShip because

I love this company and have been using their excellent products for years for my dogs and cats. I was just about to add this expensive product to my AutoShip because it was packed in glass which is what I was looking for. Glad I read the fine print because it's a plastic bottle. I can get a different brand for half the price but was willing to shell out for my preference of glass. HIGHLY suggest they make the switch back to glass! In the meantime I will switch to Nordic Naturals to refill my non-plastic Native Pet pump bottle.

This used to be in a glass bottle which meant it was safe for our pets. Now it is in a plastic bottle that has no guarantee of not leaching into the oil without another chemical added to the plastic! What is wrong with the Animal Essentials Company!! If it’s not broke, DON’T fix it with something that can harm our pets!!!! We love our fur babies and want the best for them!! The oil was fantastic but now they have ruined it with this plastic bottle that does not protect the quality and safety of the oil. I am truly sad that this brand changed from its pet assured safety in this product to save themselves a buck! Change the bottle back to glass or you’ve lost this customer forever! This deserves zero stars since this change when it used to be 5 stars...but I have to give it something so I can post this review.

Bring back the glass bottle

I can’t believe this is only being offered in plastic bottles now. I used to get this in a glass bottle. It doesn’t say these bottles are BPA free. Who knows what

I can’t believe this is only being offered in plastic bottles now. I used to get this in a glass bottle. It doesn’t say these bottles are BPA free. Who knows what they’re made of?! The quality of the oil is great and it’s the only one my picky chihuahua likes, but I can no longer recommend the plastic bottle version.

My cats don't mind the taste of this at all. It has helped one cat who has had flaky skin for years! Two issues: the bottle does not say how long the oil lasts once

My cats don't mind the taste of this at all. It has helped one cat who has had flaky skin for years! Two issues: the bottle does not say how long the oil lasts once opened and refrigerated, and I wish it still came in a glass bottle. Fish oil goes rancid quickly, so I freeze it in a wide-neck glass jar and use a measuring spoon to scoop it out (it stays soft).
