Just can't get it to harden up

I wanted to use this as an alternative to the pill pocket s, but I just couldn't get it to harden up enough. Every time my little guy would get it in his mouth he would stick it to the roof of his mouth or some other gymnastics. I'm definitely not a good pill giver, but when the casing firms up in the fridge it makes it so much easier.
Not for cats
I was so excited to find a hydrolyzed option for medicating cats. Alas, neither of my boys liked it, and one of my boys will eat just about anything. Maybe this

Love this product! I have not found many products I can use with my dog that can only have hydrolyzed protein due to IBD and food allergies that are palatable. My dog loves this and takes his pills easily now- not having to have a can of special wet food in the fridge for daily pills is amazing. I only wish they made it in a larger size.
