We tried the Animal Like Us Grass Fed Beef Liver for our senior dog "Acorn". It comes in small cubes that are easy to feed and don't break apart. Our dog doesn't have many teeth so it was nice to see that this is freeze-dried and did not require strong chewing. Other freeze-dried products are hard and have rough edges, these did not! The treats also have a pleasant scent and don't leave residue on your fingers, high quality.

My dog loves these, and I do too because they’re all natural and still raw. Where most dog food and treats are full of by products and chemical, these treats are all natural! I do wish they were slightly larger because I have a large dog, but if I’m only using them for training, they work well. The other thing I’d love if they’d improve is that they crumble a little and kind of get all over the place if you’re not careful; I don’t want them to add binders or anything, I just want people to know to handle them more carefully than they’d handle “regular” dog treats. The one thing I’m not sure about is whether freeze drying a raw product kills bacteria or not. Given the time it takes to freeze dry, this does concern me a bit; I’d love for the company to specifically address that when marketing it because I’m not going to be a minority in asking that question.

Freeze Dried dog treats are a huge hit in my home. The fact that its grass fed beef liver, its freeze dried and in small bites, Animals like us has really gone above and beyond. The package crinkles or I approach the bag I have a line of dogs and cats waiting for a treat. Yes all three of my cats love this as much as my 40pound dog does. This is one of our favorites ever in our home.
