    Works great!

    By on

My somewhat chunky TWH gelding developed slightly ouchy front hooves last winter. In addition to switching his hay to something less rich (he was on alfalfa) I immediately started him on Remission...within days he was back to his normal non-ouchy self. Great stuff, and Chewy is a great company to order from!

    Picky eater wouldn’t touch it

    By on

Unfortunately I can’t really rate or recommend this supplement, since my picky eater wouldn’t touch it. This is the second supplement of this type she wouldn’t eat. I will probably be giving it to my farrier to give away to one of his clients who’s horse will eat it.

    Miracle worker

21 yr old mare showing lameness that would come and go, although never completely gone. Also had a hoof with toe crack that wouldn't resolve thru trimming alone. Remission has helped both! Amazed how well it works. 4wks on 1 oz. dose and she's sound. Putting her on maintenance dose now. Crack will be gone on next trim cycle.

    You’ve gotta try this!

    By on

Anyone who has a horse that has lameness issues of any type please try this for a few months. My older mare has suffered for years with chronic lameness. She has been on it for 5 months & her feet are rebuilding themselves everyday and is not showing any lameness. I’m amazed! I have other horses on it for various reasons & they are all doing great. Also, I’m impressed with Chewy.com. Very fast & impressive service! I’m so going to start ordering from them. Thank you!

No way to get her to eat it!

    By on

My mare really needs this, and I thought it would be great. Nope! Sprinkle it on feed, and my greedy eater walks away! Hid it in a piece of banana and she took it, but it turned into a sticky glob and she still wouldn’t swallow it.

    Am still waiting on results

    By on

Started this product, horse seems to have continued to rotate even with proper showing. Two other horses using the supplement as a preventative (lush / wet pastures this summer). Horse with laminitis might be involved with something more going on.

This has been a game changer for my horses!

    By on

I was recommended Remission by my barefoot trimmer and it has made massive positive changes for all of my horses! My guy is homozygous PSSM1 with an owner that had never heard of the disease, so he needed real help. He is a totally different horse! My mare has better hoof health and better health in general. I have even started my mini on it and he now has the best feet my trimmer has ever seen. Truly phenomenal product.

    Perfect for tender toes

    By on

I have a few geldings that grow off of air it seems. Spring time is a fine dance figuring out the best time to pull them off pasture. Remission helps all of my geldings recover from that spring gorge of clover. Remission allows them to rotate between dry lot and pasture without the concern of them staying with tender toes.

    On pasture again!

    By on

I started my easy-keeper on this last autumn, and so far have been able to turn him out all day on grass without having him become tender-footed. First time in over ten years! He is happy and sound and my hay bill is much smaller.

    Hoof health

    By on

I have used this product before, but had stopped giving it to my horses about 8 months ago. Then, in November, my oldest mare suffered a metabolic episode and for 6 weeks could barely walk, so I purchased the product again, specifically for her, but I (try to) give it to all my horses just as a preventative. One mare will actually leave her grain alone if it's topdressed with Remission. Two other horses are OK with it, but the mare with the health issue won't always finish her grain if it has Remission in it. This makes things difficult, as her Thyro-L and Equioxx are also in the bucket, so now I'm unsure if she's getting all her meds. I think it's probably a good product (my farrier liked the ingredients), but I'd be much happier with a pellet than a powder. The powder just sinks to the bottom of the bucket unless I add liquid (like aloe vera) and stir to coat the grain. My old mare doesn't like soggy grain.....sigh. I have used other Animed products and believe them to be of high quality. … more
