Bundle: API Melafix Freshwater Fish Infection Remedy + Stress Coat Aquarium Water Conditioner

All API aquarium or pond products are able to be used if there are also turtles within the water. However, if you are trying to treat the turtle directly, we recommend to use Turtlefix instead of the Melafix product.

The Melaflex is completely safe with invertebrates such as snails and shrimps, and will not harm the biological filter or aquarium plants.

The API Melafix is an antibacterial medication that works to treat bacterial infections on the surface of the fish. It may not be appropriate for bacterial infections that are internal to the fish. For internal bacterial infections we recommend API Fin & Body Cure or the API EM Powder, which are both antibiotics that can treat bacterial infections within the fish. The API Stress Coat is always a great choice of additive when your fish is sick, this is because all fish can benefit when their stress levels are brought down. Less energy spent on reacting to stress means that the fish has more energy to spend on its immune system and on healing. Just keep in mind that the Stress Coat is not targeted to any one type of infection and should be paired with an appropriate medication when active infection exists.

Both of the products included in this bundle are safe for invertebrates, including snail and shrimp.
