API Melafix for Bacterial Infections in Fish & Coral is intended for us with Marine Fish and Tropical Freshwater fish. If your tank is freshwater and not tropical, it is not recommended.

Please don’t use with snails!

The product said it was safe for snails. Gary was negatively affected by this medication. I removed him from the tank and attempted to nurse him back to health over

I removed him from the tank and attempted to nurse him back to health over a week. but this awful product sent him to heaven. it did not even clear up my goldfish’s bacterial gill infection. rest in peace Gary

I'll say it worked

I used this on my Majestic Angel who had a fin and area under the fin issue on the right side. I followed the instructions and after a week was all healed

Really helps, even for scaleless fish

We had a bad time recently and one of our loaches had an ulcerated spot and a lyretail swordfish was looking a little ragged. Took out the activated charcoal filter

We had a bad time recently and one of our loaches had an ulcerated spot and a lyretail swordfish was looking a little ragged. Took out the activated charcoal filter and used with Pimafix and it fixed them up pretty quickly.
