Is this safe to use for turtles as well as for koi

API Pond Algaefix Algae Control Solution can be used with turtles in the pond and will not harm fish or plants. Once the product has been diluted by using the correct dose for the volume of the water, it is okay for any turtle, wildlife, or pets to come and swim or take a drink from the pond. API Pond-Zyme Sludge Destroyer Pond Sludge Remover is safe for all pond fish, plants and wildlife.

This product didn't work for my situation.

This product did not work for my 2,250 gallon pool with waterfalls. Even with massive over-dosing and the addition of a barley straw bale.

Don't Buy!

The algaefix has managed to kill at least half my fish in a 24hr period! Same for fish my bum! And if it's doing this to the fish, I can't imagine what it's doing

The algaefix has managed to kill at least half my fish in a 24hr period! Same for fish my bum! And if it's doing this to the fish, I can't imagine what it's doing to all the wildlife that drink refill it every day. I have a 2,100 gallon pond that I've been battling algae with so I tried this since it's supposed to be non-toxic. I'm furious and currently draining about 90% in hopes of not killing off the remaining ones or damaging the wildlife. It is currently baby season in Virginia where all the nursing mothers will be bringing out their young to eat and drink. By the way, I only used 3/4 of what the instructions called for. I also have a waterfall, pond pump and giant filter. It's just toxic! Putting pics of some of the dead ones. The pond WAS stocked to feed the wildlife and keep the tadpoles to a minimum. Not anymore.
