Description

Ensure your fish are getting the nutrition they need while you're away for the weekend with the API Weekend Pyramid Fish Food Feeder. Overfeeding or sprinkling large amounts of food in the tank may feed your fish through the weekend, but it can also create unhealthy water quality. Uneaten food, along with fish waste and other organic matter, pollute water and increase harmful levels of ammonia, nitrite and other toxins which cause stress, illness and even death. This patented pyramid-shaped feeder block contains nutritious, slow-release pellets which means less uneaten food and waste in the tank. Each pellet is a uniformly balanced meal and one pyramid will feed 15 to 20 average-sized fish in a 10 gallon aquarium.

Key Benefits
  • Slow-release pellets for continuous feeding even when you're not home
  • Meets the nutritional requirements of all aquarium fish (Goldfish, freshwater, tropical and saltwater)
  • Each pellet is a uniformly balanced meal, and one pyramid will feed 15 to 20 average-sized fish in a 10 gallon aquarium
  • Uneaten food, along with fish waste and other organic matter, pollute water and increase harmful levels of ammonia, nitrite and other toxins which cause stress, illness and even death
  • Overfeeding or sprinkling large amounts of food in the tank may feed your fish through the weekend, but it can also create unhealthy water quality
Precautions

For best results, place the pyramid away from the filter outlet. Do not use in a fish bowl or a non-filtered or non-aerated aquarium. Remove any residual food when you return from vacations. Uneaten food, along with fish waste and other organic matter, pollute water and increase harmful levels of ammonia, nitrite and other toxins which cause stress, illness and even death. Overfeeding or sprinkling large amounts of food in the tank may feed your fish through the weekend, but it can also create unhealthy water quality.

  • great for your fish

I always leave one of these in my three tanks before I go away for a long period of time, two weeks at most. It's usually gone by the time I get home. Give enough food for them to survion while I'm gone and they also nibble on the algae. They love these things. Snails and shrimp all love it as well.

  • Love These

I use these as added food for my Pleco's and other bottom feeders. Once in a while its nice to throw a block or two of these in my aquarium since it takes time for the food too be released I don't have to worry about all the other critters grabbing up all the food before the bottom feeders get a chance to get to it. The only down side is with the plecos these blocks do not last 14 days. Typically only a fraction of that time around 3 maybe 4 days if I'm lucky. In a regular tank with smaller fish I'm sure theses blocks would last much longer. All in all they work great.

I’ve used other fish feeders and they didnt dissolve like they should. This one does...and the larger base keeps it in place, the weight of it does too.
