What scent is this "floral" and how pungent is it? If natural smelling lavender, great. If airwick smelling, then that sounds no good.

The scent of these training pads is light and subtle, however scent is subjective. The floral scent is not a specific flower.

Do these pads have a scent to encourage the dog to use them or just a floral scent to be pleasing to people?

These pads don't have a smell to attract the dog to use it. The scented pads are meant to control odors and replace them with an added light floral scent.

These Frisco pads are for multi uses; use them for my little dog, around and underneath my cat litter boxes, absorb rain puddles in my patio, use under blankets

These Frisco pads are for multi uses; use them for my little dog, around and underneath my cat litter boxes, absorb rain puddles in my patio, use under blankets to prevent cat puke from going into the furniture (liquid can't get passed the wee wee pad that's underneath the blanket) and for other things that need to stay dry.

This products is great with absorbing and keeping the smell down.

I have used many other brands of pads. This one is the best for my dog. She uses them with no accidents compared to others that she would use beside them never own
