Applaws has stated they add a small amount of rice to their broth recipes as a useful form of carbohydrates and fiber.
Does it contain bone broth?

Applaws uses quality meat or fish for their broth. It is cooked in filtered water to infuse it with flavor, and once the flaked meat or fish is in the tins, this infused water is poured over the meat to ensure maximum flavor to the broth and minimum waste. Only the protein used as the main flavor will be used as part of the liquid broth - they do not mix broths between products it comes from the cooking process in each individual batch.
