Both Henry and Rose love lickable treats, ESP Churu. I have a lot of faith in the Applaws brand but these didn't pass the orange tabby test. Its texture is too

Both Henry and Rose love lickable treats, ESP Churu. I have a lot of faith in the Applaws brand but these didn't pass the orange tabby test. Its texture is too different from Churu. I believe the separation that occurs is not to their descerning tastes.

I removed a star for one reason only: she is only allowed 1/day instead of the 2 or 3 she was allowed when they were .25oz.. Bring back the smaller size and I’ll buy both!!!

Weird consistency, visibly less enthusiastic cat reaction.

Lemme preface this by saying, this brand is a bit of a fad right now in my friend group, but they DO NOT make nutritionally complete meals for cats. They say so

Lemme preface this by saying, this brand is a bit of a fad right now in my friend group, but they DO NOT make nutritionally complete meals for cats. They say so in the description but people seem to overlook that. Anyway, my cats go CRAZY for their little "go-gurt" style treats. They were visibly disappointed when I gave them these. The consistency is much thicker than most treats in this form, and they have to somehow be shaken before you open it to get it more liquidy, otherwise it will splooge watery treat juice when you open it and the rest of the treat will be hard to get out of the tube, almost more like a loose pate consistency than a lickable consistency. I didn't love it, they didn't love it. But they did finish it.

Debated between 2 and 3 stars since it may just be a cat preference. But ultimately she didn't even touch it and she LOVES these kind of lickable treats. She's eaten every other brand and flavor I've gotten for her. These are much thicker than other similar treats so maybe that's the issue. Who knows but like I said she loves these kind of treats and wouldn't even taste these.
