I thought aquasprouts was u.s. made and sourced. Tha package clearly says made in China. I would not have bought this model.

Would this be ok in direct sunlight for the majority of the day? What about in the winter?

It is suitable to grow houseplants and low-maintenance ornamentals anywhere; place in the sun or add a grow light and grow herbs, greens, and many small-statured fruits and vegetables. It has room for 6 plants or more. It is also suitable for small aquarium fish species including tetras, mollies & platies, barbs, and more

I see that the height listed for the AquaSprouts Fountain Aquaponics Ecosystem Kit, Charcoal, 8-gal is 20". Is that for the bottom bowl only or is that for the entire thing?

Lovely addition to the patio!

I really love this fountain! It looks great, and the plants in the top section are a nice feature that makes it very attractive surrounded by plants on my patio. The sound of the water is very relaxing and not too loud. At first, I used the recommended 3 spacers in the top section for the overflow valve, but the water was very loud. Four spacers kept the water level higher in the top section and made the fountain much quieter. The whole thing was very easy to put together!

Great little feature

For the price this water feature is great. Easy to put together, Clay stones are on the top tier with my plants and water on the bottom. I don’t think I will add fish to the bottom, but it’s a possibility. Make sure you rinse the clay stones thoroughly because otherwise it’ll make the water very murky.

Great purchase

Love it! Learning chemistry sucks with the chemicals if you want fish. but eventually things work itself out! Beautiful on our deck and we added lights underwater for at night.
